Ramona is a compassionate professional, who holds a Masters Degree in Counseling & Education and a Bachelors in Psychology. Ramona specializes in relationship building, parent consulting and life coaching. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents and young women triumph over difficult situations and psychological conditions. Through targeted interventions, she strives to equip and inspire others to live the life God intended.
Ramona homeschools her four children and owns several businesses in downtown Hattiesburg. She is a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hattiesburg, where she leads Bible Study and is actively involved in Adult Education, Youth Group and Children’s Ministry. In her personal time, Ramona serves the Hattiesburg community as chairman of the Board at Lifeline Children's Services and mentor at United Christian Ministries. Previously, she was President of the board at Bethany Christian Services, Board Member of Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg and Chaplain of Tall Pines Garden Club.

Seeking counseling takes great courage and the process can require endurance and faith. Cari feels called to journey with those who are in the midst of overwhelming situations and offer hope that real change is possible. Whether you are experiencing relational, spiritual, or emotional issues, she is committed to helping clients through utilizing research-proven techniques while remaining dependent on the Lord for true wisdom and transformation. Cari offers her clients a safe place where they can feel truly heard and understood. Her “first love” is working with couples, but she has experience in addressing a wide variety of individual and family concerns from a holistic perspective.
Cari holds a B.S. in Psychology and Counseling from Mississippi State University and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling. Shortly after completion of her MAMFC, Cari and her family spent five years in East Asia serving with a Christian non-profit organization. While overseas, she was able to develop and lead counseling-based trainings that facilitated healthy interpersonal skills and healing from traumatic experiences. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and experienced in cross-cultural counseling. She holds extra certifications in Prepare/Enrich programs, Trauma Healing through the American Bible Society, EMDR, and more. A Hattiesburg native, she’s grateful to be back in the Pine Belt with her husband and two children. After 10 years away from Mississippi, she’s re-learning her southern accent, hugging etiquette, and how to fix hair in 100% humidity.

Stephen Nevill (known to most, simply as Nevill) grew up in a military family that eventually settled in Mississippi and quickly became his beloved home state. After high-school, Nevill moved to Hattiesburg for higher education.
Nevill graduated from William Carey University with his Bachelor's in Religion. He then got married, settled down and pursued his masters degree. Nevill fell in love with the field of counseling and studied Christian Counseling at William Carey. Nevill obtained his degree and license, and is now pleased to offer general counseling, relationship counseling, life coaching and career planning.
Nevill especially enjoys working with children, youth and young adults and has gotten to invest greatly through local churches and youth groups and has a desire to see people conquer their biggest challenges.
Nevill is excited to serve and work in the field of Christian Counseling through The Cornerstone Group . His goal is to inspire others and help everyone that steps into Cornerstone to overcome the mountains in their lives.

Chami Kane

Chami is a gifted professional counselor with sixteen years experience serving children and families in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She holds a Specialist degree in counseling from Mississippi State and a Masters degree in marriage and family therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary.
Chami is trained in personality testing, EMDR and Prepare & Enrich Premarital Assessment and Counseling. She specializes in treating depression, grief, relationship issues, divorce, anxiety, health complications and life stressors.
Chami has a God-given ability to build rapport, listen well and help others gain insight and understanding in the various areas of their lives. Chami has overcome many years of infertility and she is a two-time ovarian cancer survivor, so she has the personal experience necessary to empathize with and care for those who are hurting.
Chami and her husband, Jon, are active members of Woodland Presbyterian Church, where they were youth group leaders for nine years. They have two precious miracle daughters, whom they adore.

Blair Riley

Blair Riley holds a Masters in School Counseling (K-12th grade) from Mississippi State University. She has worked with youth from all cultural & socioeconomic backgrounds, and she loves connecting with children at their level of understanding. Knowing that each child has his or her own unique way of learning, growing and expressing themselves, Blair tailors her approach to suit each client.
Blair has worked with children who are being affected by divorce, grieving the loss of a loved one, have a parent going through illness and other life-altering experiences. She loves to use art as expression with her clients and often uses journal therapy with teens. Blair has a desire to help your child feel heard, valued and realize their sense of self-worth.
Blair currently serves on the Children’s Education Committee at her church, she’s an active Children’s Church leader and has also been a Vacation Bible School Director for 10 years. In addition, Blair impacted the children of our community through her six years of service in Junior Auxiliary and she enjoys preparing lunch for the children at United Christian Academy throughout the year.
